fast growth, the container throughput has broken 600,000 TEUs in
2006. Nowadays, Taicang Port has developed into an important

deep-water coastlines. It is part of Suzhou and next to
Shanghai. With the same navigation conditions as Shanghai Port,
TICT provides 24-hour non-stop water way and one-stop pilotage.
The natural depth at quayside is -12m and there is an average
width of 1.2-1.5km in the areas with -30 meters of water depth.
As the 3rd stage of Yangtze River dredging program
processing, the water way will be able to meet the needs of
70,000-tonnage vessels round the clock.

be easily reached by land through No.204 and No.312 State
Highways, Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou Expressway, Shanghai-Nanjing

River Bridge at the end of 2008 will connect Taicang directly to
Northern Jiangsu.

situated at the most-developed economic area in Southern Jiangsu
and only 17 sea miles away from WGQ Shanghai. The
